1. Financial Information
Financial information you enter into Money Mileposts is stored locally in the app's private database on your iPhone.
This may include information such as:
- Financial account names and balances
- Contributions and savings information
- Property and asset information
- Debt and liability information
- Income history
- Financial snapshots
- Retirement assumptions and projections
- Other planning information you choose to enter
Money Mileposts does not require an online Money Mileposts account and does not operate a cloud database containing users' financial information.
2. Financial Institution Connections
Money Mileposts does not connect to banks, brokerages, credit-card providers, or other financial institutions.
The app does not request or store your financial institution usernames or passwords.
3. Backup Files
Money Mileposts allows you to export a backup of information stored in the app.
Exported backup files are created at your request and may be saved or shared using locations and services you choose, such as the Files app, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, or another device or service.
Money Mileposts does not control the privacy or security of a backup after you export it. You are responsible for protecting exported backup files and choosing where they are stored or shared.
4. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
Version 1 of Money Mileposts does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Money Mileposts does not use financial information entered into the app to create advertising profiles or sell that financial information to advertisers.
5. Apple System Features
Money Mileposts may use Apple-provided operating-system and App Store features, such as requesting an App Store rating or review.
Those features are provided and controlled by Apple and may be subject to Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
6. Support and Communications
If you voluntarily contact support@moneymileposts.com, information contained in your message is used to respond to your support request, question, feedback, or feature suggestion.
Please do not send bank account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive identifying information in support emails.
7. Deleting Your Information
Individual snapshots may be deleted from Snapshot History. Accounts, contributions, properties, and debts may be archived within the app.
To remove all locally stored Money Mileposts information from an iPhone, delete the Money Mileposts app from the device.
If you may want the information again later, create an exported backup before deleting the app.
8. Children
Money Mileposts is a personal financial planning application and is not designed specifically for children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Money Mileposts changes. Material changes to the app's data practices will be reflected in an updated version of this policy.
The date at the top of this page identifies when the policy was most recently updated.
